TORQ Homepage and Services page

TORQ Limited are a leading UK fitness services and nutrition company. Their new website was structured to focus on the unique combination of services and products that make up their business. It features their services and products in detail, all in a search friendly format that supports their customers, distributers and retailers. The site has a full search, contact form and advertising sections to enable them to feature products. All this is backed up with a clean look and simple navigation that highlights the strong TORQ brand.

A key aspect of the site is the news section which covers a diverse range of articles from various sources. The company is very involved with the sport of mountain biking and sponsors both events and its own teams of riders which leads to a large number of race reports from various authors. The company also publishes technical articles as part of its performance services and marketing articles related to its perfomance products. The news section therefore required privileges for multiple editors and a categorisation system for the different types of articles to enable visitors to find articles of interest to them. As part of the migration to the new website the 200+ news articles from the old website were transferred to the new system to preserve this valuable asset of information.

TORQ attend many events in the UK to sell their products and promote their services. The events listing was designed to allow them to inform visitors of the events that they will be attending. It is easily editable to allow them to quickly add new events. Past events are automatically removed to reduce the time required to keep it up to date.

Finally as part of the project we managed a domain name change and server move with no downtime for the site.
